Development of the Youth Programme of Sisak-Moslavina County through Collaborative Engagement

The first coordination meeting of partners and collaborators of the project “Youth Programme of Sisak-Moslavina County,” led by the Local Democracy Agency Sisak, gathered on February 7, 2024, some of the key stakeholders in our county who will establish the foundations for the development of the new Youth Programme of Sisak-Moslavina County through joint cooperation.

The meeting was attended by representatives of cities and municipalities in Sisak-Moslavina County (Novska, Petrinja, Lekenik, Glina, and Sisak), as well as representatives of Sisak-Moslavina County and the Regional Coordinator of Sisak-Moslavina County. Each participant brought unique perspectives and expertise to the table, and thanks to constructive dialogue, an agreement was reached on planning the next project activities, which include forming a Working Group for the development of the Youth Programme and conducting research among young people in the county about their challenges and needs.

The comprehensive goal of the project is to nurture an environment that empowers young people to actively participate in shaping their communities. Therefore, young people will be key stakeholders in the development of the new Youth Programme tailored to their specific needs. In a world where young people are increasingly recognized as agents of change, a project like the “Youth Programme of Sisak-Moslavina County” will provide an encouraging environment that will empower young people for active social engagement.
