The third meeting of Sisak Local volunteering policy development Working group took place on the 8 June 2012 in the Town Hall. The Working group is composed of representatives of Town of Sisak, center for social welfare, economy high school, town museum, association of retired people and LDA Sisak who is leading the whole process.
Local volunteering policy development started at the beginning of this year in three towns: Sisak, Kutina and Petrinja, in a framework of the project “Volunteering for Cross-border Local Community Development” leading by the LDA Sisak and OKC Banja Luka.
The purpose of the local volunteering policy is to provide instruments for better implementation of the Law on voluntarism, according to the possibilities and the needs of specific local community, in this case, in Sisak area.
