Platform for development of school volunteering first official meeting

On April 21, 2023, representatives of the Sisak-Moslavina county Platform for the Development of School Volunteering team gathered in the Sisak Vocational School at the first Platform team meeting. Meetings of the Platform for the development of school volunteering are a great way to build a network between different schools in Sisak-Moslavina County, place where school representatives’ can work together, and exchange experience and good practices.

Education to strengthen public speaking and advocacy skills

On April 21, 2023, an online “Education to strengthen public speaking and advocacy skills” was held for civil society organizations led by European Union public policy consultant and registered lobbyist Andrea Vodanović. Through this educational workshop, civil society organizations became more familiar with useful internet sources where they can regularly follow the news and discussions of European institutions.

Inclusive Sisak (2022 – 2023)

“Inclusive Sisak” is a pilot project, which specifically owns the activities in order to increase the possibilities for migrant’s employment through education, support and promotion. Implementation of this project has five major activities in which the migrants will have trainings in order to strengthen their own employment and active citizenship capacities.

Volonterski centar Sisak (VCS)

Volonterski centar Sisak (VCS) je lokalni volonterski centar, namijenjen volonterskim programima na području grada Siska. VCS radi na razvoju zajednice kroz volontiranje, spajajući osobe koje žele volontirati s institucijama i udrugama kojima je potreba volonterska podrška. Ovisno o pojedinom volonterskom programu, volontiranje može biti dugotrajno ili se sastojati od kratkotrajne akcije.

ALD Sisak je za projekt “Kalendar ljudskih prava” osvojila nagradu Republike Francuske “Liberte-Egalite-Fraternite” za 2004. godinu u kategoriji edukacije mladih o ljudskim pravima.
