Local Democracy Agency Sisak and City of Sisak are organising international seminar “Gender Equality and Transborder Cooperation – Legal Frameworks and Local Initiatives” that would be hold in hotel “Panonija” in Sisak on the 3 July 2008.
The seminar is carrying out in a framework of a project “Platform Enhancing Adriatic Region Links in Europe – PEARL.EU”, financed by the Adriatic New Neighbourhood Programme INTERREG/CARDS-PHARE of the Europan Union. City of Sisak is the lead partner for Croatia.
The aim of the seminar is to study legal frameworks of participating countries and its harmonisation with acquiscommunautaire of the European Union. Exchanges of the local initiatives, especially with trans-border dimension, will provide a space for future cooperation possibilities that can influence local community life.
