On Saturday, 2 October 2010, Local Democracy Agency Sisak, held public presentation of the project E-PANELS. Fostering Citizens’ Participation and Volunteering in Wider Europe, in premises of a youth club “SKWHAT”.
Purpose was to publicly present the project to its citizens, the topics at the forum and to motivate citizens to get actively involved in the forum debates. The event especially welcomed youth, representatives of locally based organisations but interested citizens as well. The speakers presented topics on Croatian forum and forum activators explained how does the forum works and invited the audience to discus and exchange opinions via forum.
Guest speakers of the event topic “Croatian cultural identity as and precondition for creation of tolerant and multicultural Europe” were Mr Davor Pavičić from Agency for Mobility and EU Programs and Mrs Križana Brkić from Department for cultural contact point of Croatian Ministry of culture. Clowns volunteers of “SKLAUN” group performed a show on topic Myths and Legends about EU, while the LDA Sisak staff and volunteers presented their experience within “Youth in Action” program.
