The Association of the Local Democracy Agencies (ALDA) and Local Democracy Agency Sisak had organised 2nd Youth Information Seminar in a framework of a project “Youth: The Right Direction”, sponsored by Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission.
The Seminar was held in Sisak in period 24-28 September 2007 and had gathered youth and youth workers from Croatia, Serbia, United Kingdom and Italy.
The participants were trained in project drafting, setting up youth information points, networking and possibilities within Youth in Action Programme (youth exchanges, volunteering, job shadowing, training and networking and other activities through European countries partnership).
The Seminar gathered twenty participants including representatives from Sisak-Moslavina County: Youth club “IKS” from Petrinja, Woman Association Hrvatska Dubica, Local Democracy Agency Sisak and Youth Forum of Social-Democrat Party (SDP) from Sisak.
Trainers were Mr. Marco Boaria from ALDA and Mr. Andrea Messori from CEMEA. The seminar opened Mr. Tomislav Dovranić, Head of Department for Social Affairs from City of Sisak.
