Project “Citizens’ participation in rural development” is dealing with informing, motivating and educating civil and public sector representatives, aiming at capacity building for democratic and multi-sartorial creation of local rural development public policies.
General objective is to increase local self-government democratic level in Croatia according to European principles of good practice, multi-stakeholder public government and participative democracy.
The project will contribute to general objective by achieving following specific objectives:
Specific objective 1: To increase civil and public sector awareness on citizens participation importance in creating and monitoring of public policies in 5 Croatian Counties and
Specific objective 2: Foster local stakeholders’ capacities for setting up sustainable model of multi-stakeholder public policies creation in 5 Croatian Counties.
The project will implement activities of informing, educating and monitoring of constitution and work of local action groups as advanced and sustainable model of multi-stakeholder local public policies creation.
The activities will result in higher motivation of local stakeholders for creation of local action groups and in more capacities for effective participation in public policies creation through active participation in local action groups.
