Held the 1st meeting of the Inter-sectoral Working Group for Abatement of a Domestic Violence

In a framework of the project For a Community without Domestic Violence”that LDA Sisak is implementing in partnership with City of Sisak and in cooperation with Centre for Social Care in Kutina, on 30 August 2007 in City council premises, the 1st meeting of the Inter-sectoral Working Group for Abatement of a Domestic Violence was held.

President of the LDA Sisak, Mrs Paula Raužan, presented the project that is aiming to contribute to abatement of a domestic violence in Sisak and Moslavina County.

There was 12 participants present at the meeting; representatives of different institutions working on domestic violence issues from all over Sisak-Moslavina County. Participants were introduced with project specific objectives, planed and implemented activities, changes and results that are expected by implementation of the project. The role of the Working Group is advisory and evaluation of the project activities and overall project results and planning of the future activities. As one of the topics of the future project, the work with abusers what can be discussed for the future projects.

The project is supported by Ministry of Health and Social Care of Republic of Croatia and Governmental Office for Gender Equality of Republic of Croatia
