Public presentations of youth projects funded by the European Union, were held during July 2011 in Kutina, Sisak, Novska, Petrinja and Glina. Presentations are organised by Sisak-Moslavina County and PRONI Centre for social education within the “EU minds” project financed by IPA INFO 2009. Presentations gathered local authorities, educational and other institutions and NGO´s.
Local Democracy Agency Sisak presented projects “E-panels – fostering Citizens’ Participation and Volunteering in a Wider Europe” and “Volunteering for Cross border Local Community Development”. Besides LDA Sisak, projects were presented by Sisak-Moslavina County, PRONI centre, Youth Association Novska, Public Open University Novska, IKS Association and Association of Banovina Students.
Second part of public presentations were dedicated to results of research of needs, social status and attitudes of young people that Croatian Youth Network conducted in County area through 2010. Also, draft of County program for youth 2010 – 2015 based on that research is presented by Nikola Buković, Coordinator of the youth policies program in Youth network Zagreb.
