Association of Local Democracy Agencies is launching the call 2010 ALDA Fellowship that will allow the flow of ideas and capacities between its staff and the members of its network. The fellowship represents a proposal for the local authorities that are members of ALDA inviting them to support the professional training of either its staff working in the international departments or that of students interested in European cooperation.
The objective of this fellowship is to prepare citizens and civil servants for deepening their knowledge and some specific skills necessary when working on International cooperation, capable of managing the role of a Local Authority in the international field and in the construction of the European Union, with a particular focus on the subject of active citizenship and local democracy.
The possibility to participate at this fellowship will be given to students (in possession of a degree or equivalent or with degree in preparation) and to Public Administrations’ servants who work in the International department of their administration, or are moving to it (even if an International department does not exists and it is under construction).
