Local Democracy Agency Sisak in cooperation with its partner Province of Venice, is organising Clown therapy workshop that would be hold 24-26 October 2008 in Sisak Youth club “SKWHAT”.
The workshop will be conducted by 4 clowns-volunteers from “Associazione Viviamo In Positivo VIP” Venecija Onlus, and will be attended by 20 participants from Sisak. Participants would carry on the cooperation with Italian clowns during whole 2009, till the end of “Clown Therapy” project that is financed by Italian Region Veneto.
The project aim is to form group of clowns-volunteers in Sisak with purpose to implement clown therapy in social institutions dealing with support to people living in disadvantage physical, psychical and social surroundings, in a form of witnessing “positive thinking” during public meetings and manifestations.
After this workshop, two clowns from Sisak will do internship in Italian town S. Dona di Piave and participate in activities of the VIP Venice ONLUS association. Moreover, it is foreseen to have return visit of Italian clowns, in order to jointly participate in local manifestations with clowns from Sisak.
