As part of one of the most beautiful Sisak events “Kupa Night” organized every year by the City of Sisak and the Tourist Board of Sisak and this year our team of employees and volunteers of the Local Democracy Agency Sisak informed the citizens about volunteering. Info days of the Volunteer Center Sisak is an activity that is carried out every year as part of important local events with the aim of informing citizens about the possibilities of volunteering, activism and other activities of the Volunteer Center Sisak program.

This time, citizens could get information about volunteering at the Slavo Striegl Promenade in Sisak, register on the spot at the Volunteer Center or get useful promo materials to get to know the work of the center in more detail through conversations with volunteers and volunteer coordinators. Respecting all the precautions of our volunteer, during the conversations with the citizens, they came to the conclusion that the coronavirus pandemic still affects volunteering in the community. They pointed out to the citizens the possibility of online volunteering, which has now become more topical, and with which they are not yet sufficiently familiar.

The “Info Days” activity of the Volunteer Center Sisak is implemented through the projects Sisak Volunteer’ Network funded by the Ministry of Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy and Volunteer Center Sisak funded by the City of Sisak.
