Supported by Youth in Action Programme of European Commission

Main objective of this activity is to support partners of the project participants to find possibilities for cooperation between SEE and EU country under Youth in Action, Action 3.1.
Actions of YOUTH were relevant for youth mobility in SEE region (where youth still need visa to cross borders), promotion of volunteering, making youth more active citizens, breaking down prejudices and fight against xenophobia and discrimination. While youth within region still has difficulties and barriers to communicate and cooperate, it is important to show them broader context than national or regional – European context. Youth in Action is great possibility for youth in the region to become even more active not only in their communities and in countries, but on European level. It is important to bring together youth from EU and SEE countries to be active together as they all will be citizens of EU eventually. With this partnership building activity we also want to break down some prejudices between youth from different regions and experience how similar our societies are.
South East European Youth Network (SEEYN) is lead partner in the project, while LDA Sisak is one of the 36 participating partners from 15 countries. The project will be hosted by Youth Center Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina
