Preparation meeting within the youth exchange project “Take a Walk on a Ritual Side”was held from 12th until 14th of November 2007. Youth exchange will take place in Alba, town near Torino in Italy from 7th until 16th of December 2007. Host of the youth exchange is association “Cooperativa O.R.So.” from Italiy, and other partners organizations are Youth center Dravinja Valley from Slovenia, Local Democracy Agency Zavidovici (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Local Democracy Agency South and Central Serbia (Nis, Serbia), Centre for Creative Expression (Lithuania) and Local Democracy Agency Sisak (Croatia).
Theme of this Youth exchange is culture and customs of participant’s countries on national, group, religious and every other level. Young people will have chance to meet and get to know different cultures, what helps them to understand way of living in other societies, stimulates curiosity and tolerance for diversities in the world we live in.
Through educative workshops in painting and theatre participants will on creative way meet and get to know cultures, customs and their specific meanings.
Six participants aged 16- 19 years from each country will be present and two leaders of each group.
On preparatory meeting group leaders from Italy, Lithuania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia defined activities for the youth exchange, roles of the group leaders and activities concerning organization of exchange.
