The project „Think Green Every Day!“ is about informing, educating and awareness raising of Sisak-Moslavina County citizens on importance of environmental protection.
Specific objective is involvement of elementary school pupils in environment protection education and to contribute to citizens’ awareness rising.
The project is implementing in the area of Sisak-Moslavina County using expressive methods (drawings of pupils), recycled material educational workshops and public campaign.
The project will results in new information-education materials for wider implementation. Bookmarks and ecological poster will be produces containing information of important dates for environmental protection. Moreover, it is contributing to changing of habits and accepting new behavioural patterns, especially with children that are often motivators of changing habits of their parents. During the celebration of Planet Earth Day workshop, citizens will have the opportunity to learn to make interesting and useful toys and souvenirs of recycled materials and be motivated to try to make ones themselves.
The project is supported by Sisak-Moslavina County in the amount of 20.000,00 HRK.
