Five youngsters from Sisak participated at the youth exchange on entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship hold 1-10 December 2016 in Durres, Albania.
The youth exchange is part of the “RAISE – Raising the Advantages of Youth through Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship” project, funded by the EU Erasmus Plus program, in which the Local Democracy Agency Sisak is partnering. The purpose of the exchange is raising awareness and competence of young people for active involvement in professional life planning and in community life.
It gathered 40 people from Croatia, Albania, Serbia, Romania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Greece, who, along with the main topic, got familiar with the Erasmus Plus program and had opportunity to meet their peers in different countries and got to know their cultures.
The main aim of the project is to improve the employability and competences of young people in partner organisation through youth work and non-formal educational methods. The youth exchange participants learnt the whole business process, from business plan development, budget planning, to production, sale and marketing.
On behalf of the LDA Sisak participated volunteers Manuela Birač and Antonela Gajdek, Nemanja Kantar from Human Nova Zagreb social enterprise and pupil of Sisak Technical School Bruna Prečanica and Borna Smolčić.
All participants received Youthpass – European certificate of gained competencies during the education.
