Regardless of the current isolation, we have decided to continue to conduct our volunteer activities and workshops as part of the project “The Future: for us and for you!”. This time, our volunteers completed their assignment as part of a sustainable development education program from the comfort of their own home.
We conducted an activity within the Global Sustainable Development aim called „With Partnership to Goals“, where students needed to become aware of the importance of collaborating and connecting all stakeholders in the local community and to think critically about why partnership is important in addressing community goals. We have the opportunity to create ideas for solving a common problem. Students spoke with parents and creative expression to answer questions about what institutions and organizations are important to connect to address the epidemic in the city, why everyone is needed, and who can help. The assignment consisted of a short story that needed to be completed with its own story or drawing. The idea was not missing!
We continue to pursue our activities that we have adapted to the current working conditions and the implementation of volunteer activities in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
