Local Democracy Agency Sisak held public promotion of a manual „Behave as a National Minority?!“, written by Tatjana Puskaric, on Saturday, 27 May 2006, in Jazz Club „Siscia“ (Rimska bb) in Sisak beginning at 11:00 h.
Guest speaker was Aleksandar Tolnauer, President of the Council of the National Minority of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. It gathered 35 representatives of minority organisations, local authorities and media.
The manual is the product of the a project „Advocacy and Rights Training Seminars for Ethnic Minority Councils“ that LDA Sisak was implementing in the period February 2005 – February 2006, supported by Council of Europe.
The manual summarise the most frequent questions and answers of the project seminars participants with the purpose to promote national minorities and Ethnic Minority Councils in local community and therefore useful to representatives of the national minorities in their work.
