Visit the 5th Annual photo exhibition of voluntary programs implemented in the Sisak-Moslavina county area during the year 2020 opened in occasion of the International Volunteer Coordinators Day (5.11.) and the International Volunteer Day (5.12.).

The exhibition is an open platform of active volunteer activity presenting wast opportunity for contributing to life quality improvement beyond ingrained fields of volunteering.
Installed for the 5th year in a row, it aims to promote the importance of an individual voluntary contribution for a community development and to motivate development of quality, innovative and sustainable voluntary programs. This particular exhibition is especially important since the presented activities were carried out in extreme period facing the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences, that generated new social problems seeking new ways of respond and support.
The photos of twenty organisations present and promote values of humanism, equality, human rights, democracy, sustainable development, peace and non-violence. Volunteering as an activity that affirms these values, provide us the opportunity to grow as persons, grow as organisations, grow as society!
With this exhibition, we want to thank the organisations and volunteers on their effort and creativity in initiating changes and to support spreading the volunteer network and creating new contents that improve life and strengthen our community.
The exhibition installs Local Democracy Agency Sisak with the projects Follow my Steps! – Youth for a Sustainable Community, Sisak Volunteer’ Network and Volunteer Centre Sisak.
