Adopting Policy Analysis Skills for Successful Advocacy in the Community

On 18th March, we conducted an education session titled “Policy Analysis and Advocacy Skills” as part of the project “Live Equality, Celebrate Diversity!“. The aim of this education was to equip civil society organisations and public institutions from Sisak-Moslavina County with the skills necessary for analysing public and integration policies, and how to transform the analysed data into advocacy actions.

New Advocacy Collaboration for Equality and Diversity

Local Democracy Agency Sisak and CROSOL – Platform for International Civil Solidarity of Croatia have joined forces on a new project called Live Equality, Celebrate Diversity! The project addresses the lack of developed civil society organizations (CSOs), which represent a driving change in the area of promotion and protection of human rights in Sisak and Sisak-Moslavina County.

Youth Programme of Sisak-Moslavina County

The LDA Sisak, along with partners and collaborators, will work together during the 12-month project implementation to develop a proposal for the Youth Programme of Sisak-Moslavina County for 2024-2028 through public-civil partnerships and a dialogue between youth and decision-makers. The project places youth at the forefront of programme development, actively involving them in the conceptualisation and creation of the new programme.

Agencija lokalne demokracije Sisak (ALD Sisak) je nevladina i neprofitna organizacija osnovana 1996. godine kao pilot projekt Kongresa lokalnih i regionalnih vlasti Vijeća Europe s ciljem potpore razvoju lokalnih demokratskih procesa i promoviranje ljudskih prava i aktivnog građanstva. Volonterski centar Sisak (VCS)

Volonterski centar Sisak (VCS) je lokalni volonterski centar, namijenjen volonterskim programima na području grada Siska. VCS radi na razvoju zajednice kroz volontiranje, spajajući osobe koje žele volontirati s institucijama i udrugama kojima je potreba volonterska podrška. Ovisno o pojedinom volonterskom programu, volontiranje može biti dugotrajno ili se sastojati od kratkotrajne akcije.

ALD Sisak je za projekt “Kalendar ljudskih prava” osvojila nagradu Republike Francuske “Liberte-Egalite-Fraternite” za 2004. godinu u kategoriji edukacije mladih o ljudskim pravima.
